Artificial Intelligence (AI) vs. Mental Intelligence (MI)

Artificial intelligence—commonly known as AI—demands staggering amounts of energy and water just to exist. Yet, despite widespread public opposition, data centers powering the AI boom are sprouting up across the United States and beyond. These digital behemoths drive up electric bills, contaminate water supplies, and stir a host of environmental anxieties. For all its dazzle, AI’s promised rewards seem increasingly outweighed by its tangible perils. Still, elected officials press forward with approvals, as if the voices of the people were mere background noise. Money talks, after all—and bull walks.

Some, in their infinite hubris, envision AI as the ultimate tool of domination means to engineer elite societies and subjugate the masses. In their worldview, whoever seizes the levers of AI will eventually seize the planet, forging a super-society ruled by the few wealthy enough to claim a seat at that gilded table.

But God remains good. Unseen by the uninitiated, there stirs another kind of intelligence—one that the powers of this age overlook entirely. I propose we call it MI, or Mental Intelligence. Its beauty lies in this: it demands no power grids, no cooling towers, no rare-earth minerals. Its energy flows from a source spoken of in ancient treatises—writings meant to awaken humanity to the importance of pleasing the Divine. Prophets and students of nature have long whispered of this "invisible" resource, ages before silicon chips ever hummed. Yet those chained to a single dimension—the flatland of the material—remain blind to it, though it has been staring them in the face all along.

Why is MI so elusive to some? The answer is disarmingly simple. Those who have never been forced to break free from the seductions of the physical realm will struggle to perceive the value of other dimensions, especially the mental and the spiritual. Ironically, they will still invoke these higher realms as bait to lure others into their narratives, all while being utterly bereft of the genuine power those realms confer. Having feasted so long on freedom, wealth, and dominance from the material world, they find it nearly impossible to authentically partake of anything beyond it. But those who have tasted bitter fruit—who have endured inhumane circumstances and swallowed the husks of desperation—inherit a wisdom that the pampered will never comprehend.

For the vigilant, however, AI’s flaws are unmistakable. They will see it not as a means, but as an end, a brittle creature of human making, as fallible and fragile as its creators. AI is opinionated, deceptive, and unreliable—a mirror of our own brokenness. Those who trust it to govern all mankind are, quite plainly, high on their own supply.

Meanwhile, Mental Intelligence—MI—is quietly raising a new standard, even as the Earth continues its ancient spin around the Sun. This is why it is so incredibly important to know who is in your corner when you go to the poles.
